Infinite and Ansys support student teams with industry-leading simulation technology, technical expertise, and hands-on training. By helping students test, optimize, and innovate faster, we enable them to turn ambitious ideas into real-world engineering success. We currently support the following teams:
Innoptus Solar Team
The Innoptus Solar Team is a group of Belgian engineering students dedicated to building the most innovative and efficient solar car in the world. For nineteen years, they have developed groundbreaking vehicles, competed in races worldwide and winning several championships. They also became the first European team to win the American Solar Challenge in 2026. By collaborating closely with strong partners, they demonstrate how Belgian technology and green energy can accelerate the future of sustainable mobility.
Student Teams
Hydro Team Leuven
HydroTeam is developing the first fully hydrogen-powered Belgian race car and demonstrating emission-free technology in high-performance environments. Following the launch of the prototype in 2024, the team is focusing on further optimization in 2025-2026.
RoboTeam Twente
RoboTeam Twente has united students from the University of Twente and Saxion around robotics and AI for ten years. The team is currently developing a Mars Rover for autonomous navigation, terrain exploration, and environmental analysis at the European Rover Challenge.
Electric Superbike Team Twente
Electric Superbike Twente has been designing and building fully electric motorcycles since 2017. Every year, a new and driven student team takes on this challenge to make motorsport more sustainable and showcase the exciting future of electric mobility.
Dare Delft
Delft Aerospace Rocket Engineering (DARE) is a student team from TU Delft and one of the most advanced student rocket teams in the world. Since 2001, the team’s 200+ members have developed powerful rockets and completed over 200 launches.
Aquilo Rocket Team Delft
AQUILO Rocket Team is a student team from Inholland University of Applied Sciences Delft focused on rocketry. The team has been active for ten years, developing, building, and testing its own rockets and engines, and participates in the European Rocketry Challenge 2026 (EuRoC).
Lunar Zebro Delft
Lunar Zebro is a student team from TU Delft that has been working on robotics and space exploration since 2013. It started with small walking robots and evolved into a mission concept featuring collaborative robots for lunar exploration.
Aetherspace Leuven
Aether is a Belgian student team from Leuven that works on advanced space technology. They are developing a CubeSat, a compact nanosatellite, and researching re-entry technology to safely bring satellites back to Earth from space.
Surge Twente
Surge Twente is a student team from the University of Twente and Saxion that develops sustainable energy solutions for the maritime sector. The team is building the first student-built methanol-powered hydrofoil boat and focuses on innovative fuel cell technology.
Rise Twente
RISE is a student team from the University of Twente, VU Amsterdam, and Saxion. Since 2022, they have been working towards sustainable space exploration by focusing on reusable biofuel-powered rockets and tackling the problem of space debris.
DroneTeam Twente
DroneTeam Twente is a student team from the University of Twente that has been developing electric, autonomous aircraft for humanitarian aid for 8 years. The drones are designed to independently carry out missions and deliver aid supplies to challenging locations.
Solar Team Twente
Solar Team Twente is a student team that has been innovating with solar-powered cars for over twenty years. To test sustainable innovations in extreme conditions, the team leaves the asphalt behind for the desert, with the next challenge being the Rallye du Maroc.
Advantix Team Breda
Team Advantix is a student team from Breda developing an electric Formula race car since 2022. With students from Avans University of Applied Sciences and TU Eindhoven, they combine theory and practice for a sustainable future in motorsport.
Forze Hydrogen Racing Delft
Forze Hydrogen Racing is a student team from Delft that has been building hydrogen-electric race cars since 2007. Since its start, the team has developed nine increasingly faster vehicles to promote sustainability in motorsport and mobility.
Top Dutch solar racing Groningen
Top Dutch Solar Racing is a student solar racing team from Groningen, the Netherlands. The team was founded in February 2017 and first participated in the Challenger Class of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in 2019.
Delft Solar Team
Solar Team Delft is a student team from TU Delft that has been developing advanced solar cars since 2001, having won multiple championships. Through technological innovation and participation in international solar races, they demonstrate the immense potential of sustainable energy.
Void Eindhoven
Void Eindhoven is a student team from TU Eindhoven. Since 2024, the team has been developing reusable launch vehicles to reduce the costs and environmental footprint of space exploration, while making access to space more accessible.
Aster in space Eindhoven
Team ASTER is the space student team of TU Eindhoven. It is building the university’s first CubeSat with a fifteen-meter dipole antenna for space research, followed by the OLFAr: a large orbital radio telescope.
Ure Eindhoven
University Racing Eindhoven (URE) is a student team from TU Eindhoven that has been building cars since 2003. They design advanced electric and autonomous race cars for global Formula Student competitions, promoting teamwork and innovation.
Aero Team Eindhoven
AERO is a student team from TU Eindhoven that accelerates autonomous drone innovation. By developing the world’s first In-Air Battery-Swap System, they explore new flight possibilities and sustainable energy solutions.
Aero Delft
Since 2017, AeroDelft has been committed to sustainable aviation as a diverse student team. Through innovative technologies, they develop, test, and promote liquid hydrogen as a promising alternative to conventional aircraft fuels.
Be-Rocket Leuven
Be-Rocket is a student team that does more than just build rockets. They unite students from seven different universities with the opportunity to gain practical experience, develop innovative technologies, and work together to turn their space ambitions into reality.
Hybrid maglev Railways Eindhoven
Hybrid Maglev Railways (HMR) is a team of student engineers from TU Eindhoven that develops retrofit magnetic levitation technology. Their system enables existing European railways to support trains traveling up to 600 km/h without requiring new infrastructure.
Lambach Aircraft Delft
Lambach Aircraft Delft is a student team at TU Delft focused on designing, building, and flying fixed-wing aircraft. Their focus is on autonomous vehicles for competitions and research , providing students with hands-on experience.
Nova Electric Racing Delft
Nova Electric Racing is a student team from TU Delft and Inholland that develops sustainable electric racing motorcycles. Through innovation, engineering, and a passion for motorsport, they educate students and push the boundaries of electric racing.
Solar team Eindhoven
Solar Team Eindhoven is a student team from TU Eindhoven that has been developing innovative solar vehicles since 2013. In 2026, they unveiled Stella Juva, the world’s first solar-powered ambulance, to make healthcare more accessible in remote areas.
TU/Ecomotive Eindhoven
TU/ecomotive is a student team from TU Eindhoven that has been working on sustainable mobility since 2012. By applying innovative technologies and materials in concept cars, they are shaping the future of transportation.
Team Abyss Eindhoven
Abyss is an international student team from Eindhoven that develops innovative underwater technology. With The Unsinkable II, they are researching a buoyancy system based on paraffin wax, enabling underwater vehicles to control their depth more efficiently.
Team Daedalus Eindhoven
Team Daedalus is a student team from TU Eindhoven that has been working on an autonomous solar-powered drone since 2021. Their goal is to enable long-duration aerial monitoring, especially for the early detection of wildfires worldwide.
Team Polar Eindhoven
Polar is an international student team from TU Eindhoven, active since 2019. The team is developing Gentoo, a sustainable autonomous rover that supports Antarctic expeditions by making transportation and logistics more efficient and environmentally friendly.
Proseris Eindhoven
